Community Outreach
At Paul’s we are serious about making our community a better place to live – and we believe that making it better for bicycling will help to achieve that – the Bicycle Way of Life. We are all about getting more people to ride bikes for fun, transportation, and lifestyle. We encourage comfort, convenience and safety when advocating for better community programs and engineering. We teach the public through various means more about the laws, the skills to ride safely, bike maintenance, and stylish gear to do it more comfortably.
We have a small team of folks working on community projects from repairing bikes that the City of Eugene Police Department recovers, to maintaining bikes GEARs and BTA use to teach our area 6th graders the basics of safety and skills. We visit businesses, offering employees tune-ups, and workshops for better commuting.
